Early childhood pedagogy training

As we well know, teaching preschool children is not an easy work to accomplish. Preschool teachers have to learn how to teach preschool students successfully. In August 2015, New Humanity (NH) sent 9 teachers (Module I= 4 teachers, and Module II: 5 teachers) to attend the preschool pedagogy training organized by a  local organization called Krousar Yoeung (our family), which is specialized in Early Childhood Care and Development in Cambodia. Contents of the training were focused on how to recognize the characteristics of preschool children in order to give them the appropriate education  in accordance with their capabilities and interests.Ms. Em Somaly, a teacher at Taney pre-school, shared her feedback regarding the course she attended. 


The topics were basically focused on the role and method of teaching, cognitive and emotional development of children, teaching art and language, motor skills, health and personal care. Ms. Em Somaly found this course very useful and interesting. Thanks to the training, she understood more clearly the importance of community preschool for little children and she developed a new and innovative teaching strategy in order to attract children’ attention, for example by using visual arts or making learning games. She acquired proper techniques on class management and she succeeded in improving internal and external environment. She really appreciated the opportunity to learn about preschool pedagogy, so to be well prepared for helping  little children to develop their skills. She was very grateful to New Humanity for giving her this chance, to all the trainers from Ministry of Education Youth and Sports and to Krousar Yoeung for the high quality of the training.
